Handmade Tables for Sweden
A collaboration with Alice von Schierstädt
In August 2025, we teamed up with Munich-based interior designer Alice von Schierstädt to craft a series of handmade wooden tables for a site in Sweden.
Alice von Schierstädt is an interior designer whose work feels quiet, grounded, and naturally lived in. Her spaces are thoughtful without being staged—shaped by proportion, light, and materials that are meant to be used, not preserved.
What we share is a belief that good design should support daily life with calm confidence, and that the most lasting pieces are the ones that feel at home from the start.
Design, planning, prototyping, and final production all happened under one roof at our studio at Gut Frauenholz. The timber comes from the forests around us and is sawn at one of the last water-powered mills, only 500 meters from the studio, hidden in the middle of the woods before returning to our workshop for the final build.
